The news that 11 Indian brave soldiers were martyred on 26th January 2017 in snow avalanche in Gurej Sector of J&K is heart-rending. Pray for a peaceful heavenly place for departed souls while necessary spiritual strength to the loved ones of them to bear the partings. This Vedic astrology writer had , however , sought to alert about such a sad happening in J&K during this time through a variety of predictions in article “ 2017 – an opportune year for India with major worrisome concerns in February-March and August-September” ( also known as “ Probable predictions in relation to India in coming year 2017”) issued widely to news media last year in October and November 2016 for more care and appropriate strategy.
